This page walks you from zero to your first TREE purchase and, when you are ready, your first liquidity deposit. No jargon required—we explain the few terms you need as we go.
Coinbase can sell you SUI, but TREE Command Center connects to a Sui-compatible wallet. This guide walks through the bridge between them.
FOUR TERMS TO KNOW
Plain language before you begin
The blockchain where SUI, TREE, NFTrees, and the Command Center operate.
A small amount of SUI paid to process an action. Keep some SUI unspent.
Supplying a pair of assets to a trading pool so other users can swap between them.
CHOOSE A WALLET
Use a Sui-compatible wallet you control
Always install from an official website. Slush is Sui-native, and Nightly is a multi-network wallet with Sui support.
FOUR SAFE STEPS
Move SUI from Coinbase to your wallet
- 1
Create or open your wallet
Use one of the official wallet links above. Secure your recovery method privately. Never share a recovery phrase, password, private key, or verification code with anyone.
- 2
Copy your Sui receive address
Inside the wallet, choose Receive and select the Sui network. In a multi-network wallet such as Nightly, do not copy a Solana, Ethereum, or other network address. A Sui address normally begins with
0x. - 3
Send SUI from Coinbase
In Coinbase, choose Send crypto, select SUI, paste your Sui receive address, and select the Sui network if Coinbase asks you to choose a network.
- 4
Send a small test first
Review the network and compare the first and last characters of the address. Send a small test amount, wait for it to appear in your wallet, and only then consider sending the remainder.
An incorrect address or network can permanently lose funds. Network fees and regional restrictions may apply. Keep a small amount of SUI available for future Sui transaction fees.
YOUR FIRST TREE ACTION
Buy TREE inside the Command Center
Once your SUI arrives, the rest happens inside the TREE app. You can review the expected amount and route before your wallet asks for approval.
- 1Connect the funded wallet
Use the same Slush, Nightly, or compatible Sui wallet that received your SUI.
- 2Choose how much SUI to swap
The Swap screen shows the estimated TREE amount and dollar values before anything is submitted.
- 3Review and approve
Confirm the route and amounts, then approve the transaction inside your wallet. Keep a little SUI for network fees.
OPTIONAL NEXT STEP
Ready for your first liquidity deposit?
Liquidity positions combine SUI and TREE so traders can swap between them. They can earn fees and incentives, but their value can change and withdrawals may return a different mix of assets. Learn the position type and start small.

Your wallet remains under your control. Connecting lets the app read balances and prepare transactions; every transaction still requires your wallet approval.
